Volunteer required PDF Print E-mail
We have a vacancy on the committee that we need to fill. It isn't time consuming and it is a chance to 'put something back into the league'. The position is to collate the results each week and pass them on to the website manager. Additionally you would be asked to vote/discuss issues concerning the league.

If you are interested contact Mike.

Edinburgh Festiball to celebrate 20th anniversary this August PDF Print E-mail
The 20th version of the Edinburgh Festiball will be played this year on the weekend of August 28-29 at Peffermill Playing Fields, bringing back memories of the first-ever Festiball, conceived by Andy Cannon of the Picts Softball Club and contested by just two teams in Holyrood Park in 1991.

Since then, the tournament has had a number of locations before settling at Peffermill in 1997, and has grown in popularity, with a maximum of 36 teams taking part in 2007. The fact that the Festiball coincides with the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe each year has undoubtedly contributed to the tournament's success, but so has excellent facilities and organisation and some interesting formats.

This is a fantastic tournament and lots of fun. So why not get your team organised, or get a bunch of randoms from throughout the league together. A great time is guaranteed...

For an application form and more information, visit the tournament website or email Lesley Morisetti.
